Christmas dinner Me@OUE.

We have finally come to the end of 2014! It has been a long and ardous year and the time for celebration is at hand!  So what better way to celebrate the completion of a long year than to celebrate on Christmas Eve and treating ourselves to first class food with a first class atmosphere. We chose ME@OUE bayfront to have our dinner.

Me@OUE serves 3 types of cuisine, Japanese, French and Chinese. You can have a combination of the 3 for the appetizers, main course and side course. For starters, I had the foie gras for my appetizer which tasted superb and for the mains, I had fresh Japanese cod and rack of lamb which were cooked to perfection. The fish was fresh and had no fishy smell whatsoever and the lamb which was prepared wonderfully, had a crispy and crunchy texture on the outside but soft and tender meat on the inside. Judging from the foods here, one can see that the chefs definitely have a high standard for the food they prepare.

While the traditional Christmas food fare usually consists of the usual turkey, ham and log cake. Here, we managed to have Chinese fried rice forChristmas dinner. The restaurant certainly went the extra mile to pamper us and to serve our every need. Another example of the restaurant’s dedication to making sure its customers leave feeling satisfied can be seen when the restaurant’s manager, specially dressed as Santa Claus so as to bring the joy and spirit of Christmas to diners. There was definitely a sense of community and cohesion among the staff here in this place and the service given here matches the excellence of its food. The service was superb and consistent throughout our whole experience from the time we reached to the moment we left. I would definitely give the service here an 8.5 upon 10.

Besides the excellent food and serviceThe atmosphere and setting of the restauarant gave us the perfect setting to reflect on the year, its ups and downs and also to make our New Year’s resolution! And what a better way to end the year by showing our gratitude and thanks to the people that made the year 2014 memorable and wonderful These sweet and encoraging words will definitely inspireus to conquer 2015 together!

Great food at a first class restaurant with a breathtaking scenery where magnficence of Marina Bay leaves diners looking in awe and taking many pictures . Everyone should give Me@OUE a try at least once!

I wish you a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. May the year ahead be filled with joy and happiness!
