Heartburn

If you are suffering from heartburn. What food should you avoid? 

Heartburn is a burning sensation in the chest and throat and usually associated with acid reflux which is a major symptom of Gastroesophageal Reflux Diease happens when stomach acid and enzymes together with food flows backward from the stomach into esophagus, causing pain and infammation of the esophagus. Symptoms included heartburn, regurgitation of food and liquid, sour, bitter taste in the mouth and difficulty of swallowing food. 

It is best avoid food such as cheese, peppermint, chocolates, fatty and fried foods, tomato based products, critrus fruits, caffeine and alcohol. Do not overeat as it will worsen the symptoms.
