Popular Black Pepper Crabs in Long Beach Seafood came about by accident.

I have patronized Long Beach Seafood Restaurant since in the early 1990s, they were in Marina South, after shutdown in 2006. The Dempsey Hill outlet was opened in 2007. The restaurant was opened in 1982 by Mr Andrew Wong, a former manager in the food and beverage industry. Their popular black pepper crab, they reveals that the dry paste of the crab which Long Beach is popular was came about by accident, when the, 

"Black pepper crabs were so popular that the kitchen could not keep up with the orders, the chef had to manage up to six woks at one time. By the time he got back to the first wok, the crab have dried up." But later the chef realized that the customers like it and become popular. Other well known are white pepper crabs, Chilli crabs,

Beside crabs they serve exotic seafood, such as cowry (sea snail) from Australia, Calappa crab from Britain 

Beside the seafood they have other dishes like noodle, popular mee goreng, fry rice etc.

The China Club most spectacular views.

Celebrating at THE CHINA CLUB. The top floor of the Capital Tower is occupied by the China Club, only club members are able to access. The club features a bar, restaurant with private dining rooms and meeting rooms. 

The Capital Tower is located in the Central Business District. The Club is surrounded by 16 metre-tall glass with perhaps the most spectacular views across Singapore. Capital Tower has 52 floors, served by five shuttle double-deck lifts. Security is tight because the 3 top, richness tenants are in the building,

There's buffet, for cheese, dessert, salad and pasteries.

My feedbacks were, 
-the Fagioli Lannellini soup is clear and tasted the bean paste, I like this soup.
- however, the pasta, the texture I prefer a little softer because when I bite. I could feel the flour texture maybe you want to come and try yourself. 
- the seafood is not the best grade. 
That's my take.

Super Fun video, Cantonese, Mandarin & English

Super Fun video, Cantonese, Mandarin & English.
Today our video shooting and our producer wanted to have 3 types of languages speaking, Cantonese, Mandarin & English. Therefore we have to rehearse several times so that we will able to match our conversation and flow fluently. It was not a easy one but we have done well and finished with bingo. 


We have done several video shooting already, to do a 3 different types of language to recommend nice foods were be the first time, I believed something new and it will be the first time in the market too.

We have a lot of fun, as each of us has their own reviews and comments, tantalize their favorite dishes.

Good Trio Restaurant, (三 人 行)

The Good Trio Restaurant, (三 人 行)
The dishes here are luscious, simple, creative and not expensive but of quality. The chefs have created the dishes diligently with great ideas.

However the services need to be strengthened, hence the chefs has spent a lot of efforts and times to create the dishes therefore the waiters need to explain the characteristics of each dish and the way to eat?


I have checked with the lady boss the characteristics of each dishes as I have explained below, 


Deep Fried Corn Fish,
When you first see the dish, you probably might have thought that's a corn?? It's a sea bass, the chefs have diligently cut and fried, till the skin is crispy, still able to maintain the tender of the meat and lastly coat the fried fish with their special made sauce before service.


Nanping Braised Noodle, 
The noodle is made in the kitchen by the chef, the broth is boiled for 6 hours with older chicken (hen), pork bone, It's tasty.


Stew Pot Chicken with Mushroom Soup. The soup is boiled with Goji, kampong chicken, their special herbs & five (5) different types of mushrooms.
I was told to synchronize in drinking the soup and eating the chicken together. 


Stir Fried Yam with Sesame dish.
This dish has to eat while it's hot but it'll burn the tongue. Therefore we need to dip the fried yam into a bowl of water before we eat. However, when it less hot you may eat the fried yam directly. 

I really like this restaurant and like all the food that we have ordered.

Day 7, Home Sweet Home.

Day 7, 
Went early to Heathrow Terminal 2 @Silver Lounge to have meal before boarding the plane.

Once I was on board, I seek help to deploy my bed, went straight to sleep till the next morning and have the breakfast.
