Day 2 (Pt 1) Welcome to Stockholm, Sweden

At the central of Stockholm, we made reservations at Riche, a charming restaurant that is very much like a home to most diners. And if anyone been to Riche, they would only have nice words for Riche because the experience was personable; not to mention the music, the arts and the food. The service includes table bookings, walk-ins are welcome, takeaway, table-service and Outdoor seating. Founded in 1893, this modern brasserie comes with a large dining room and a cosmopolitan bar. Riche even has a Dj to spin music every night, except Sunday and Monday, for patrons to dance the night away. There were many artists who gathered under this roof, and many of their works were adorn the walls. Riche wants to create a living gallery for you to enjoy. The management would update with new artwork and sometimes forgotten treasures from the past.
Riche serves an array of fusion Swedish and French cuisine. The culinary team, led by Thomas Mortensen and owner Tore Wretman, is famous for creating Swedish culinary classics such as Toast Skagen. Toast Skagen is an ingenious combination of prawns and other ingredients on a small piece of sautéed bread.
Shopping around Riche was good. Just next door was the newly opened Chanel and numerous brand stores around central Stockholm. VAT refundable at topremiertaxfree.com for more details.

In the evening, we had cocktail at Cardierbaren. It was at the Grand Hotel Matbaren where we were staying. Cardierbaren is a popular bar in Grand Hotel,  many celebrities would booked their nights at the hotel and very often you would bumped into them. Of course if I ever bumped into one, I would be so excited that I could faint. Haha... Anyway we sat outside to view the river across the road or you could sit inside the bar with stunning decor and high ceiling.
After which, we had dinner at Matbaren, also located in Grand Hotel.
