Himalayan Salt Block at the Pipe District

The name of this restaurant reflects a rather harsh and uncompromising industrial setting with Modern European Cuisine. So lets get through the pipe down to their menu shall we?

Chilli crab style chicken wings

Served with traditional chili crab sauce, this sauce has generous amount of crab meat. It'll make a lovely snack with the Archipelago draught beers as you share your day's work with your friends, or appetizer for your main course would be good too!

All-time favorite
You get to make your own dish! So I chose linguine pasta for my carb, US scallops and prawn for my protein and white wine saffron garlic butter for flavor. Yes, all in all the power of 3 (choices) makes your power lunch! My very own seafood linguine with wine saffron garlic butter! YUMMY!

Cod fish Bouillabaisse
Bouillabaisse is a traditional Provençal fish stew originating from the port city of Marseille. The English and French form Bouillabaisse from bolhabaissa, a compound that consists of the two verbs bolhir and abaissar.  Anyway, this pan-seared cod served with roasted baby potato and summer green is a perfect combo for fish lovers!

Charcoal fish and chips
Grilling is often serves as healthy alternative to cooking with oils, so for this healthy dish, you can choose sweet potato fries over normal fries, and it comes with green salad, tartar dressing and malt vinegar. Ocean catch of the day!

Himalayan Salt Block selections
This is their specialty! I had the Kurobuta pork rack and prime beef tenderloin, served with garlic fried rice. 2 sauces for me to dip my juicy meat with - the Red wine (heavier taste) and mushroom cream sauce (lighter taste). The hoba leaf is imported only from Japan and cost $2 each. It is used to lighten the saltiness of the salt block and also enhances the meat flavour with the hoba leaf fragrance. To taste the original flavor of the meat, salt block is another type of cooking medium other than stone. It is also a healthier way of eating without any seasoning or marination.
