Start with sour plum drink it will increase your appetite for food, cleansing your palette and help to digest your food as well.
The satay has been adapted to the multicultural palates of Asians with various spicy sauces and different ways of marinating the meat. The skewing and grilling is perfect, no over burn meat, served with thick peanut sauce .
Black pepper crab,
the crab is fresh, umami, succulent. The chef explained there's no sugar added in and it's the creamy sauce that give the distinctive taste.
Chili crab is popular in Malaysia and Singapore, the chef take a step further by using bean curd, he first deep fried the bean curd to crispy on the outer layer and custard-like inside that cover with the sauce, meaning you will eat your favorite chili crab sauce yet have something different with high nutrients.
Salted egg sauce is trendy these days, salted egg crab, salted egg spinach and now salted egg with pumpkin and bitter gourd, what do you is the chef smart? pumpkin has sweet in nature and bitter gourd is bitter and tender with a light coated, deep fried to crispy, lastly stir fry with the salted egg sauce.
Sambal stinggray with thick layer of  meat compare to others, thin meat. Sambal is in house made so you can find this special recipes here only, can taste the chili but not spicy, perfect level of spiciness.
Signature Chicken, using all the mini drum from the wing, deep frying and then stir fried with the sauce, I guess the sauce as marmite but the stall keeper do not want to disclose it.
Egg plants, top shelves, bean, black fungus and carrots, is like home cook food, very basic yet tasty, the gravy is light, goes well with steam rice.
Dessert is essential to finish a well meal, cendol and ice kancang is our Asian's dessert, made of coconut milk, blended ice with red bean, agar agar.

Spark Your Holiday at Val D'Isere (French Alps)

I travelled from Singapore to Geneva, via Zurich, from Geneva we travelled 3 hours in the coach to Val D’Isere. The staff from Chardon Mountain Lodges in Val D’Isere came to fetch us from Geneva in our hotel, during the journey champagne was served.

All the rooms were superb. I would advise you to take the room downstairs. I had that room rather than the one off the lounge area. The rooms facing south have better views. The chalet is surrounded by snow-covered mountains.

From the moment the staff picked us up to the personal goodbye, we were pampered. Any issues which were raised were resolved within minutes. Any extra services needed were provided promptly nothing was too difficult for them.
In fact, we did ask for birthday decorations and a white chocolate cake.The cake was freshly baked and tasty.

On the New Year's eve we enjoyed the fireworks and the lovely dinner provided.
There are cars to pick you up from any location if you wish to go shopping, sightseeing or dining. We went to L’AROLAY Restaurant. It is an authentic french restaurant and the food is commendable.

Oxygene-ski & Snowboard school has the most friendly instructors. We had Charlotte and Fabrice as our instructors. They were kind and patient, understanding the needs of individual skiers. We had lots of fun through learning. There was no language barrier.

At Le Chardon, we received world class hospitality. Val D’Isere left us with sweet memories of a lifetime.

Acoustic Live Band @Puggol

I love live music, one of the most straightforward forms of live performance involves singing with acoustic guitar, able to acquaint and interact with each others. At Wild J’s Bistro, they have created an ambience and atmosphere of worthy moments, swinging 20’s -50’s…. With a variety of different musical acts every night, the vibe slightly differs by performance. The live band plays every Wednesday to Saturday from 8pm to 12pm, Wednesday will be Cantonese songs you can be sure to be entertained and enjoy upbeat tunes over your dinner.  One of the singer is Jason Chung. He was the winner of Karaoke Championships & represented in the regional competition in Hong Kong in the past years, since then Jason has been wowing audience with his powerful voice and I am one of them. Beside Jason Chung there are other popular singers too.

Australian Rib Eye Steak
The steak has its smokiness and flavour in the meat and the grilled depending very much on the flame and the type of grates, it enhances the flavour even more, the chef has marinaded the right ingredients to the meat is tender and juicy. it has a good size and perfect texture.

Butter Salmon
The salmon is crisp, crackly, crunchy skin, moist, flavourful meat that melts across the tongue like butter. There’s a reason after all, why salmon is the most popular fish in the country.

Linguine Carbonara 
Pasta is probably the next most common thing for those who crave something western. The spaghetti with the creamy sauce with mushroom, bacon, butter, cream, white wine and pepper, it is very tasty and subtle flavour.
